Cannabis is currently only legally sold to medical marijuana cardholders. New Jersey does offer reciprocity to out of state medical card holders. Yes, recreational cannabis was legally approved; however, you cannot legally purchase cannabis at any dispensary at this time. The state is working on meeting the demand of medicinal patients prior to offering recreational sales.
